On November 20, 1961, on the basis of a testamentary bequest, drawn up in the form of a gift contract, concluded between the donor Danica Pavlović Barilli and the recipient, SO Požarevac, the Milena's Home Foundation was established - the endowment of Danica Pavlović Barilli (1883-1965) and Milena Pavlović Barilli (1909-1945) with headquarters in Požarevac, Voje Dulića no. 14. It contains the Gallery with paintings by Milena Pavlović Barilli, as part of its structure. The abbreviated name reads: Milena's Home Foundation - Milena Pavlović Barilli Gallery.
The foundation was established with the aim of collecting, processing, preserving, publishing and showing the artistic creation of Milena Pavlović Barilli to the public; to use and protect the copyrights arising from all of Milena's artistic creation, as well as the copyrights of her mother Danica and father Bruno Barilli; to help talented artists within the limits of its abilities and interests; to protect and preserve the immovable and movable property of the Foundation FOR ETERNAL TIMES AS THE GREATEST CULTURAL VALUE OF THE CITY OF POZAREVAC; as well as to preserve the memory of the donor, her ancestors and descendants, as well as of the great benefactors of the Foundation.
